Birdcage express was an immersive birdcage intervention by myself, Jaine Sanchez and Mishal Hashmi in M&A’s recent temporary installation La Cage aux Folles by WTArch.
Birdcage Express investigated supersizing a world that is too small for humans. This immersive 3D projection environment invites participants to move amongst their favorite aviators in a human scale birdcage - relax on your favorite perch or flitter about from chamber to chamber as birds come alive with movement and song.
